New: Visual Peptide Dosing & Cycle Planner (No More Guesswork)
A free complete peptide dosing calculator with syringe conversion, cycle scheduling, and vial planning in one streamlined tool.
Hey Biohackers,
If you’ve ever tried to dial in peptide dosing, you already know the pain: converting milligrams to micrograms, matching that to insulin syringes, then layering on a multi-week schedule without screwing anything up. It’s way too easy to miscalculate, forget how many vials you actually need, or miss your own reorder window.
That’s exactly why I built the Project Biohacking Peptide Calculator — a full-stack dosing, scheduling, and supply engine designed specifically for research peptides and real-world use.

Illustration only, the real one is way cooler!
What this peptide calculator actually does
Most “peptide calculators” online stop at a single mg/mL conversion and call it a day. This one goes much further and acts like a cockpit for your entire protocol.
Here’s what it helps you do:
Convert vial + water into a real-world dose
Enter vial size in mg (quick buttons for 5/10/15/20 mg or a custom amount) and the water volume in mL.
The calculator computes concentration (mg/mL) and “units per unit” so you know exactly how many insulin syringe units to pull for a given dose.
Work in the direction your brain works
Two modes: “Find Units” (you know the dose, want to know units) and “Find Dose” (you know how many units you pulled, want to know the actual dose).
That means you can either start from a protocol (e.g., 250 mcg) or from what’s already in the syringe.
Handle both fixed and weight-based dosing
Optional weight-based mode: enter body weight in kg and desired mcg/kg, and it calculates the total mcg dose automatically.
This is ideal for research scenarios or protocols that scale to body weight instead of using a flat number.
Match your dose to syringe reality
Quickly choose syringe size (0.3 mL / 30U, 0.5 mL / 50U, or 1 mL / 100U).
The calculator translates your dose into “Units to Pull” and shows a syringe visualization with proportional fill, labels, and max capacity so you can sanity check everything at a glance.
Built-in dosing schedule engine
Once your dose is set, the calculator doesn’t stop there — it actually turns it into a full schedule.
You can:
Choose from 11 frequency patterns
Once daily, once daily 5 days/week, twice daily, twice daily 5 days/week, every other day, 3x weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri), 2x weekly (Mon/Thu), once weekly, fixed 10-day or 20-day runs, or a fully custom schedule.
Twice-daily patterns are supported for protocols that split doses AM/PM.
Set start and end conditions like a real protocol
Pick a start date and time of day for your first dose.
Optionally add a “Cycle End Date” and/or a “Manual End Date,” with built-in hard stops so the engine never runs past your defined end.
There’s also a 730-day cap so you don’t accidentally generate multi-year schedules.
Together, this gives you a clean, predictable dosing calendar that respects both your protocol design and your real life.
Plan vials, inventory, and reorder dates
One of my favorite parts: the calculator doubles as an inventory planner.
Start with how many vials you have
Enter “Vials Purchased to Start Cycle,” and it uses your vial size and dose to calculate total inventory and how long it will last.
Add a reorder buffer so you never run out mid-cycle
Set a “Reorder Buffer (Days)” — for example, 7 days — and it estimates your depletion date, then subtracts the buffer to give you a target reorder date.
This accounts for shipping time and keeps your cycle from being interrupted.
Everything is tied to your actual dose and schedule, not a generic rule-of-thumb.
Calendar export and reminders
Instead of relying on memory, you can export the whole schedule straight into your calendar.
Generate an ICS calendar file
With a valid dose, vial setup, and schedule, the calculator builds a proper ICS file with one event for each planned dose.
Each event includes timestamps, a disclaimer in the description, and even reminder support via VALARM.
Add to your calendar with one click
Use “Download Calendar File” or “Add Calendar Reminder” — both deliver the same ICS file you can import into tools like Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.
It’s a clean way to move from “plan” to actual reminders without manual data entry.
Printable summaries and shareable results
The calculator is designed not only to compute, but also to communicate.
Print-optimized protocol summary
A dedicated “Print / Save Summary” button uses special print styles: it hides interactive controls and shows a clean, print-only summary that you can save as a PDF or keep in a research notebook.
Share results instantly
Built-in share tools let you copy a summary, copy a link, or kick off an email with your calculation.
The shared link encodes all relevant state (dose, vial, schedule, etc.) so another person can load the exact same calculation — without exposing body weight values.
All sharing gracefully falls back to clipboard if the native share APIs aren’t available, so it works across devices.
Advanced options for power users
For those who like to see the underlying numbers, there’s an “Advanced Options” panel.
Inside, you’ll find:
Concentration (mg/mL) and units-per-unit explicitly displayed.
A “Cycle Days” input that lets you quickly estimate total mg across the entire protocol, which is perfect for planning overall exposure.
It gives transparency to the math so you can verify and sanity-check calculations instead of treating the tool as a black box.
Privacy, safety, and how data is handled
The calculator is designed for research reference and transparency first.
Research-use-only disclaimer
Clear language at the bottom states that this is not medical advice, not a prescription tool, and that all calculations and protocol decisions must be independently verified by the user.
No data sent to any server
All calculations happen in the browser; the tool explicitly notes that calculator data is only used to generate on-page and share/export outputs and is not transmitted to any backend.
For biohackers who care about data privacy and control, this matters.
Why this feels different from typical calculators
There are three big design principles behind this build:
End-to-end workflow, not just a conversion
It takes you from vial → dose → syringe → schedule → inventory → calendar → printable summary — all in one place.
Real-world UX for actual humans
Default presets for vial sizes and common doses, collapsible panels that stay out of your way until you need them (Dosing Schedule, Cycle Supply, Cycle Timeline, Advanced Options, and the Research Use Disclaimer), and clear states when calculations aren’t ready yet.
Take it for a test drive, it’s free!👇🏻
🔚 Outro & Final Thoughts
If you’re using peptides in your research and you’re still relying on napkin math, random forum posts, or half-baked calculators, this tool will feel like a serious upgrade.
Until next time, stay ahead of your age!
